 หากเราลองนำความงามในยุค2023 ในการมองข้ามกายหยาบ ลาภยศ หรือชาติตระกูลไป มาตั้งคำถามว่าหากเป็นเช่นนี้แล้ว คุณค่าของแต่ละบุคคลจะอยู่ตรงไหน

ตามแนวคิดสำคัญโดยย่อของปรัชญาอัตถิภาวนิยม (Existentialism) ข้อหนึ่งที่ว่า “คุณค่าของมนุษย์อยู่ที่ความดี ความงามที่ตนเองพอใจเลือกทางเดินของตนเอง มิใช่อยู่ที่จารีตประเพณี ร่างกาย โลก สังคม ประวัติศาสตร์ วัฒนธรรมที่กำหนดความเป็นอยู่ของบุคคล” จากใจความนี้ สิ่งที่ทำให้โลกใบนี้น่าอยู่อาจเป็นแค่คุณค่าทางจิตและวิญาญาณ ที่ถูกบดบังอยู่ภายใต้รูปลักษณ์และวิถีชีวิต ที่ไม่เคยได้รับการมองเห็นเชิดชู หรือบูชาก็เป็นได้

ผลงานจิตรกรรมชุดนี้ ได้ผนึกคุณค่าของมนุษย์ที่อยู่ในท่วงท่าอันแสนธรรมดา และไม่เคยถูกยกย่อง หรือสรรเสริญ ภายใต้รูปลักษณ์ที่ไม่สมบูณ์​แบบ ที่กำลังสวมใส่เสื้อผ้าเครื่องประดับที่สวยงาม ถูกจารึกไว้ภายใต้กรอบและขอบเขตที่หรูหรา ในขนาดจิ๋วที่จนแทบไม่มีคนสังเกต​เห็น เฉกเช่นการตะโกนของเสียงเล็กๆจากอีกฟากฝั่งของโลก

Everything in this world is all about the illusion, even the value of beauty; which is probably inevitably tastes, valuation, and mass hysteria. Contrary to the past, many people increasingly focus on the value of humanity rather than on their outward appearance.

What would be The VALUE OF AN INDIVIDUAL if we were not living in the 2023 era where the standard of beauty includes qualities beyond physical appearance, financial security, social status, and family lineage?

One of the brief essential concepts of Existentialism mentions that ” The value of an individual is not determined by their appearance or social status, but by the goodness and beauty they feel compelled to pursue on their own will.”. From this viewpoint, the spiritual values that make the world a better place may be hidden behind an outward appearance and a way of life that has never been seen praised, or worshipped.

 .

 This painting workpiece conveys the value of an individual in a typical pose; who has never been recognized for their imperfect appearance, yet dressed in gorgeous clothing and accessories, engraved within ornate frames and boundaries so small that nearly no one takes notice. It sounds like a tiny voice shouting from the other side of the world.
